ABOUT JARED

Jared Decker is a drummer, composer, arranger, and educator. Living in Jersey City, NJ, he performs in New York City, New Jersey, around the country and internationally, building a reputation as a dependable and versatile musician.

Jared thrives in many styles, with experience performing and recording jazz with the likes of Victor Goines and Warren Wolf, accompanying singer-songwriters like Gemma Laurence and Susie McCollum, and rock bands like Goldwoman and Joy & The Wildfire. He is also a member of the BMI Jazz Composers Workshop. In addition to composing and arranging, Jared has produced several recording projects, including co-producing Sean Decker's new album More Soon, and for the Constellation Big Band. Also regularly playing for musical theater, Jared's recent pit orchestra performances include Zoe Sarnak's Split, the Old Globe's production of Hair, and the New Off-Broadway Cast Recording of Baby.
